Though not seeing, Jibrin Isah Diso rose through
the academic ladder to become a professor. He is
the first man in the country with such impairment
to read his way through to the enviable position
of a professor.

Professor Diso is the first visually impaired professor in Nigeria. Legit.ng gathered that the academic was born blind but he never allowed that to get in his way of achieving success.

The professor has being a role model with his rich
profile to both people living with special needs and normal people. He is said to have more than 10 publications to his credit at the faculty of education, Bayero University, Kano.
